Las Vegas, once again
I havent posted on here in a while because I have been going to the same boring places again and again. I was even battling with a decision to move back home to Charlotte, North Carolina for a job with the airlines! I decided to turn the job down, because - ironically - when you work there, you dont get to travel as much as when you are listed as a beneficiary. To hell with that!

I had the whole row to myself! Why don’t I get that kind of luck on an international flight? Grr
So last week, the girls and I went to Vegas. It was my 7th time total, 3rd time this year in Vegas. It was also the first time that I actually gambled!

#ballin!
Lol. I don’t believe in gambling. I don’t think you ever win, so I put my measly dollar in there and pretend like I’m playing when the waitress comes around for free drinks.

Caesar on what was hopefully a chilly day

Rock your cock off? mkay…

My friend playing a huge slot!!

I called my friend who lives in Vegas to let her know that I was there again - this time with a group of girls. She told me that the Ying Yang Twins were going to be preforming at her bar that night. Yes!
So of course, we went. And guess who we saw at the entrance?

DJ Paul! From Three 6 Mafia. I asked him where project pat was, lol.
The club was pretty packed

Kaine and DJ Paul
We had a blast that night. We also went to an urban club in Rio. The rest of the weekend was a blur, but we had a good time!

So, I havent been traveling much - partially because school is kicking my ass! I am only taking 10 credit hours, but they are all preformances classes.
Previously, when I was a Marketing major, it was super easy to just breeze through school. I made it out of high school with a 3.7 and out of my private college with a 3.87 as a cum laude graduate, but nothing compares to these music classes! You actually have to work hard for your A. *pouts*
My sister and I have played upright bass since elementary school. In our district, 4th graders were allowed to choose an instrument at the end of the year. My sister and her friend chose the Double Bass in the orchestra, and I was in awe! Being the copy cat that I was, at the end of the next year I picked the bass also!
I played it from 4th - senior year of high school, and stopped after I graduated.
I missed it so much, that when I moved to LA, I bough one of my own!
^ my baby.
And about a month ago, I bought a custom made precision squier bass guitar

Yay!
This is what my day consists of lately. One hour on upright, one hour on red marley, and 20 minutes on piano. (Should be an hour, but I’m lazy and I need my netflix fix!)
But, I am flying to Charlotte tomorrow to visit my friends. So I guess that counts as a trip. Will post pics later!<3

The one downside about flying standby is that I’m never guaranteed a seat on the plane, no matter how good the flights look. I was booked on a flight from Charlotte to LA to make it to the Rock The Bells concert, but I didnt get on :’(
The flight had 17 open seats - which is great! But, due to a east coast flight being cancelled, it was overbooked before I got there.
Well, at least I’ll make it back home to the VMAs this Sunday!
